A1-Driving School is the preferred driving school for students and families in Bridgeport/Stratford Connecticut. Our teen’s driver education courses covers all the information you need to earn your license and become a safe and security driver.

The 8 Hour Course (Drug & Alcohol class) is the minimum requirement to get your license in the state of CT. With the 8 hour course, teens must have their learner’s permit for at least 180 days before they can take the test for their driver’s license.
The Full 30 Hour Package includes 30 Hour Course, and 4 driving lessons. This package is perfect for teenagers who want to get their driver’s license in 4 months, instead of 6 months. Exclusive to this package is 4 hours of driving simulation for FREE.
Both courses included the required 2-hour Parent Class.
All driver education certificates are ELECTRONIC and will be issued in the DMV system upon completion of course.
We are unable to process certificates without your Learner’s Permit Number. If you do not have your permit yet, you may still take the 8 Hour or 30 Hour course. Simply let us know when you do get your permit, so we may process your certificate. You will receive a copy of your certificate through email.
We offer driving lessons for students ages 16 and up. You are required to have your CT Learner’s permit to take any lessons behind the wheel.

Our drivers training covers everything you need to know to ace the driving test and become a safe, confident driver. Behind the wheel lessons start from our office in Stratford, Bridgeport DMV, Waterbury DMV, or Hamden DMV. We do not offer pick up/drop off.
NOTICE: $50 fee for no shows & late cancellations (less than 24 hours in advance).
We offer car rental for your road test at Bridgeport, Hamden, or Waterbury DMV. Road test car rentals require a minimum 2-hour Behind the Wheel lesson.
To schedule car rental, you must call the office.
Parent Course is REQUIRED parents of all students aged 16 & 17. Only parents are required to take this class. Price is included with TEEN 8 Hour course and TEEN 30 Hour Course.
We are offering the Parent Class online every other Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm.
